Colorado RFID Alliance Announces October 25, 2007 RFID Expo
Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 3, 2007 -- The Colorado RFID Alliance (CORFIDA) today announced the final agenda for the 2007 Colorado RFID Expo to be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm on October 25, 2007 at the Marriott Denver Tech Center.
The Colorado RFID Expo highlights include:
- Educational tracks presented by some of the leading RFID companies in the industry.
- A panel of RFID experts discussing the latest trends in RFID, the practical uses of RFID and how to achieve an ROI with RFID.
- Hands-on demonstrations of RFID software and hardware solutions in the exhibit area.
- Networking opportunities with RFID and other technology professionals.
Colorado is one of the nation's hotspots for RFID (radio frequency identification) activity, and the Expo will provide a cross representation of those companies already achieving ROI with RFID technology, companies exploring RFID to improve their businesses and RFID technology suppliers. Retail, healthcare, manufacturing, biotechnology, government contractors and other industries are applying RFID technology to streamline operations, deter theft, reduce labor and human error, and optimize asset utilization at a rate that according to Gartner will help the RFID market reach $3 billion by 2010.
"RFID technology has moved beyond the hype and we are now seeing real ROI from companies implementing the technology for a host of applications," said Gary Bresien, President of CORFIDA. "The Colorado RFID Expo will highlight these practical implementations and also, for the first time, provide an educational element for companies that are exploring RFID technology and its applications."
Companies sponsoring this year's Expo and providing product demonstrations include Motorola, Sun Microsystems, Fluensee, American Barcode & RFID, Alien Technology, Intelleflex and IBM.
For more information and to register for the Expo, visit http://www.corfida.org/ The event costs $25 per person, and registration includes a one-year associate membership to the Colorado RFID Alliance.
